The philosophy behind it

Legalfree's mission is:

To offer high-quality cultural material through an alternative means of distribution at reduced cost. It is also aimed at consolidating a marketplace separate both from illegal sales on the one side and the big high-street shops on the other, injecting life into a free cultural distribution;
To help emerging artists;
Aiding social integration by offering work to immigrants who find themselves in difficult circumstances.

The idea

The Legalfree project is based on three simple concepts:

Culture should be able to circulate freely, with no pressure from anyone;
‘Coexistence and social integration;
Assisting illegal immigrants to get the paperwork they need.

Along with Valencia's Acció Karme association, Legalfree has already started promoting cultural diversity by publishing music by illegal immigrants in Spain.

Today Legalfree aims to create an alternative bridge between society and cultural diversity, creating a work project focussed on obtaining proper paperwork for immigrants.
